SantaPostcardImage1How excited would your kids be to get a postcard right from Santa Claus himself? And how excited would you be for your child to get a little extra motivation to do their chores and homework, be nice to their siblings, and keep their bedrooms clean?

For just $5.95, Santa Will Write a postcard addressed to your child and send it right to your home! These postcards are personalized with your child’s name, and you get to pick five options for Santa’s reminders. Some of the choices include “Get good grades,” “Listen to your parents,” “Be kind to others,” and “Brush your teeth,” in addition to the ones I mentioned above. But you can also create custom entries so Santa can motivate your child to work on whatever behaviors or actions he or she may need a little extra help with! And once you submit your order, your postcard will arrive in a week or less. You can even choose from two different images for the postcard โ€“ a classic Santa Claus checking his list, or a cartoon-style Elf School picture.

I was given the opportunity to try out this service and had Santa send a postcard to my youngest son, Taylor. Taylor, at 20 months old, is a little young yet to understand the concepts of Christmas or Santa Claus, but I loved the idea of including the postcard in his baby book. I kind of wanted to create custom items for the list like “quit wiping your boogery nose on your mom’s shirt” and ” stop sticking your hands down your diaper and then fingerpainting with what you find inside,” and “Don’t yank on the cat’s tail, the cat is not a pull-toy” but this is for posterity so I kept it more generic.

As you can see, Taylor appears to be somewhat concerned with his ability to follow Santa’s recommendations. He’s also probably trying to decide if the presents are worth having to pick up his toys and be nice to his brothers.

Santa Will Write also has a lot of other great Christmas products like a personalized letter from that can be sent alone for $9.95 or included as part of a package. The Deluxe package costs $19.95 plus shipping and includes a personalized letter from Santa, a fun note from Rudolph, an Official Nice List Certificate with your child’s name on it, stickers, tattoos, and games โ€“ plus it’s sprinkled with Magic Dust so it sparkles and shines when your child opens it!

The UItra Deluxe package is $34.95 plus shipping and adds on Sparkly Reindeer Food (which is a Christmas Eve tradition in my family), reindeer bells, Christmas activity pads and crayons, a Christmas beach ball with an inflatable snowman inside, bendy holiday characters, and a Build Santa’s Workshop sticker set! Oh my gosh, how much would I have loved to have received that as a kid! And I think even my teenagers would love to get a set like this, despite the fact that they’re pretty sure Santa isn’t real.
