Namefully Gothic Initial Necklace #Review

DISCLOSURE: I received one or more of the items mentioned free for review purposes; nonetheless, all opinions expressed are my own. I am disclosing this in accordance with the Federal Trade Commissions 16 CFR, Part 255 Guides, Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.

Namefully offers just about any style of name jewelry that you can think of – from monograms to names to initials; from necklaces to bracelets to earrings, and much more. They have jewelry for moms, jewelry for men, jewelry for kids – even sorority jewelry and symbol jewelry! (I particularly love their music-themed symbol jewelry – so pretty!)

C360_2015-03-02-21-34-40-333Namefully let me choose one of their gothic initial necklaces to review – these are acrylic necklaces that you can customize not only by initial but also by color. After you select your initial (I chose T, of course), then you pick the color you’d like your initial. There are 7 opaque choices (red, blue, green, orange, white, black, and yellow), 3 transparent choices (red, blue, or orange), and 5 special colors (neon pink, neon yellow, silver mirror, silver, and gold). You can also select your preferred chain length from 5 choices, from a 14″ child’s chain all the way up to a 22″ chain. (The included chain is a silver plated rolo chain).

I chose silver for my Gothic T necklace, with an 18″ chain. The ordering process was very simple – pick a letter, pick a color, pick a chain, and go! The necklace arrives in a pretty little jewelry bag, so if you order one as a gift it’s already nicely packaged. The pendant is about ¾ inch tall by ½ inch wide and is thicker than you’d think, about 1/8 inch. It’s large enough to be visible without being gaudy, yet also definitely qualifies as a statement piece!

The only downside? There’s no picture preview of your chosen letter & color on the order page. I do wish that they’d add the capability to the site so that the letter and color of the image change based on your selections. I was kind of curious what “transparent blue” would look like, but went with silver to be safe.

You can purchase a Gothic Initial Necklace from Namefully for $25 – and make sure you check out the wide variety of other jewelry they carry while you’re there! (Seriously, I love their symbol jewelry too, check it out!)
