With five kids, gift-giving holidays could put quite a strain on our budget if we weren’t careful. We have two birthdays next month – my second-born will be 16, and my youngest will be celebrating his first birthday. October is also not only my and my husband’s wedding anniversary month, but the anniversary month for both of his siblings and their spouses as well – and also his brother’s birthday. Whew! And then a couple of months later Christmas will be upon us, and then a couple of months after THAT we have another round of birthdays in February.
When picking out gifts for all of our loved ones, we have to aim for quality over quantity; thoughtfulness over extravagance. And I’m a year-round gift stockpiler, always keeping my eyes open for a great deal that will make a great gift. And one of my most frequent stops to check out deals is Groupon Goods.
Groupon Goods has something for everyone – children’s products, clothing, electronics, kitchenware, jewelry, beauty products – and everything in between! They also have the stuff you need to accessorize the gifts you buy (like jumbo packs of batteries to power all the cool new toys your kids will be getting). I can’t talk about the great deals I found for my teenager’s birthday next month just in case he reads this post, but the baby can’t read yet so I can share some of the deals I’m considering for his first birthday. Right now I’m having a hard time deciding between this awesome Baby Genius Step-To-Dance Junior Piano Mat or the 120 piece Tadpoles Foam Playmat and Blocks Set. I’ll probably end up getting both – one for his birthday, and one to stash for Christmas.
If you’re a year-round gift shopper like I am, you can sign up for email notifications for great deals – not just on Groupon Goods, but also deals on things like Getaways, Restaurants, and Live events! (You can pick which types of Groupon deals you want to receive emails about). There’s even a Clearance section on their website, and I’m a huge fan of clearance deals. And of course Groupon Goods isn’t *just* for getting great deals on gifts – you can find spectacular prices on everyday purchases too (bath and bed items, home appliances and décor, even furniture). Like this GForce 3.2L Electric Air Fryer, just for example! (I’ve been wanting one of these forever, and this is a great price!)
What do you (or would you) love to save money on with Groupon Goods?
